CiviCRM on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg
CiviCRM is the leading open source CRM for nonprofits, NGOs, associations and civic sector organisations, bringing contact and membership management, contributions and fundraising, events, mailings, cases and reporting together in one web console. Maintained by cloudimg on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 LTS base, this image ships CiviCRM Standalone 6.16.0 in standalone mode with no separate content management system, served by nginx and PHP 8.3 FPM with a bundled local MariaDB, so the appliance is complete on its own.
The database is installed and ready with the full schema, and a unique administrator password plus unique site and cryptographic keys are generated on the first boot of every VM. No default or shipped CiviCRM login authenticates: the admin is a unique per VM secret stored as a salted hash, and common guesses are rejected. Sign in on port 80 with the per VM password and manage contacts, memberships, contributions and fundraising, events and mailings. The base URL and asset URLs follow the request host, so the console works by the VM public IP or your own domain.
The bundled MariaDB listens on 127.0.0.1:3306 only and is never exposed to the network. A dedicated managed data disk carries the MariaDB database and CiviCRM's settings, uploads and template cache, so your data stays off the operating system disk. An unauthenticated /healthz endpoint is provided for load balancer probes. For production, add your own domain and TLS, add an SMTP mailer and a payment processor, and follow standard hardening.
