Pleasanter on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg

No-code business database platform for building records, forms and workflows.

Pleasanter on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg

Pleasanter (Implem.Pleasanter) is an open-source no-code / low-code business database platform - a self-hosted alternative to tools like Airtable and kintone. It gives a team one place to build and run its own line-of-business applications: create tables (called sites), define columns, add records, design views and dashboards, set up approval workflow and notifications, and drive it all from other systems through a full REST API - entirely in the browser, with no programming.

This cloudimg image delivers a complete, production-shaped deployment of the pinned upstream release Pleasanter 1.5.6.1 (the latest at build time), unmodified, under the AGPL-3.0 licence. Pleasanter ships as a single, fully-featured edition: there is no licence key and no paywalled tier, so every capability is available out of the box.

Architecture

  • The ASP.NET Core 10 application runs under Kestrel, bound to `127.0.0.1:5000` only
  • A local PostgreSQL 16 database holds every table and record, on loopback only
  • nginx on port 80 is the single public entry point; Pleasanter's own login page is the authenticated front door
  • The .NET runtime is installed from the Ubuntu archive (`main`), so it receives security updates through the normal `apt` channel

Secure by default - no known credential ever ships

The captured image contains no database and no usable credential. On the first boot of every VM, cloudimg's first-boot service builds the database schema and generates a unique Administrator password, a unique API key and unique database passwords - so no two deployments share a credential, and the upstream default login (`Administrator` / `pleasanter`) is rejected on every deployed VM. Both the application and nginx stay closed until first boot completes, so there is no window in which the platform is reachable without a credential (fail closed).

What you get

  • Pleasanter 1.5.6.1, AGPL-3.0, single fully-featured edition
  • Per-VM Administrator password, API key and database passwords, generated on first boot into a root-only file
  • ASP.NET Core 10 runtime from the Ubuntu archive, PostgreSQL 16, nginx
  • A step-by-step cloudimg deployment guide
  • 24/7 cloudimg support
