BDRShield SaaS Backup helps organizations protect data stored in cloud-based SaaS applications against accidental deletion, data loss, ransomware, and other data protection risks.

BDRShield is provided as a preconfigured Azure virtual machine appliance, allowing organizations to deploy their SaaS backup infrastructure directly within their Azure environment. After deployment, administrators can connect their supported SaaS applications, configure backup policies, and centrally manage backup and recovery operations from the BDRShield management console.

How It Works

1. Deploy the BDRShield SaaS Backup virtual machine from Azure Marketplace.
2. Configure the Azure VM, networking, storage, and access according to your environment.
3. Sign in to the BDRShield management console.
4. Connect and authorize the SaaS application you want to protect.
5. Select the users, accounts, or supported workloads to be protected.
6. Configure backup schedules, retention, and other backup settings.
7. Monitor backup operations from the BDRShield console.
8. Recover supported SaaS data when required.

Azure Deployment

The Marketplace image contains the BDRShield application and required components for SaaS backup deployment. Customer-specific configuration is completed after deployment, including SaaS application authorization, licensing, backup policies, retention settings, storage configuration, and other environment-specific requirements.
