SovereignCloak ZTNA v1.0

by Vyntra

Self-hosted Zero Trust Network Access built on Microsoft Entra ID and QUIC protocol

Replace your VPN with Zero Trust — on your own infrastructure

SovereignCloak ZTNA is a self-hosted Zero Trust Network Access solution built natively on Microsoft Entra ID and the QUIC protocol. Unlike SaaS ZTNA vendors, SovereignCloak runs entirely within your Azure subscription — your users' traffic never touches a third-party network.

Why SovereignCloak

  • Data sovereignty: Control plane and edge gateway run in your own Azure VM. Zero traffic leaves your environment.
  • Entra ID native: Uses your existing Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and group-based access control. No new identity provider needed.
  • QUIC protocol: Faster and more resilient than TCP-based VPNs. Works through firewalls and NAT without port forwarding.
  • One-time licensing: No per-user monthly fees. Pay once per deployment.
  • Windows fleet ready: Silent MSI deployment via Microsoft Intune or Group Policy. No end-user interaction required.
  • Transparent proxy: All apps — browsers, curl, Python, legacy tools — route through the tunnel automatically. No per-app configuration.

  • How it works

    1. Deploy SovereignCloak to your Azure VM using this template (10 minutes).
    2. Connect your Microsoft Entra ID tenant — users authenticate with their existing Microsoft credentials.
    3. Define which Entra groups can access which internal resources.
    4. Deploy the Windows agent to managed devices via Intune or GPO.
    5. Users access internal applications seamlessly — no VPN client, no manual connection.

    6. Built for regulated industries

SovereignCloak is designed for organisations where data residency and compliance are non-negotiable — healthcare (DPDP, HIPAA), financial services (RBI, PCI-DSS), legal, and defence contractors. Because SovereignCloak runs in your own Azure subscription, your compliance perimeter never changes.

      Deployment

This template provisions an Ubuntu 22.04 VM, installs Docker, pulls the SovereignCloak container images, and starts the control plane — all in under 10 minutes. A guided portal wizard collects your license and configuration. No command-line expertise required.

      Compared to alternatives

      • vs. Zscaler ZPA / Cloudflare Access: SovereignCloak traffic stays in your Azure subscription. SaaS ZTNA routes your traffic through the vendor's global network.
      • vs. OpenVPN / WireGuard: SovereignCloak is true ZTNA — access is granted per application, per group, per session. Not network-level access to everything.
      • vs. Microsoft Entra Private Access: SovereignCloak adds QUIC transport, transparent all-app proxy, SIEM webhooks, and detailed session audit logs — with no additional Microsoft licensing required.

      • Pricing

SovereignCloak uses Bring Your Own License (BYOL) pricing. Purchase a license at vyntratech.in and enter it during deployment. Tiers:

        • Starter — up to 25 users
        • Business — up to 100 users
        • Enterprise — up to 500 users
