Alluxio Marketplace Billing Connector enables organizations already running Alluxio on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to manage Alluxio software charges through Microsoft Marketplace. The Kubernetes application installs a billing connector in the customer's AKS cluster. It links the Marketplace plan to an existing Alluxio deployment, validates billing authorization, and submits authorized custom-meter usage to Microsoft Marketplace. It does not install or replace the Alluxio data plane. Key benefits: - Keep the existing Alluxio deployment and operational setup. - Consolidate eligible Alluxio software charges on the customer's Azure bill. - Align metered charges with the capacity and pricing terms of the selected plan or private offer. Requirements: An operational Alluxio deployment on a managed AKS cluster, permission to install a Kubernetes extension, and network access to Azure identity and Marketplace metering endpoints. Installation alone does not submit a charge. Metering begins only after billing authorization and follows the applicable plan and customer agreement.
