Miniflux on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg
Miniflux is the minimalist, opinionated feed reader: RSS, Atom and JSON feeds in a fast, distraction-free interface with keyboard shortcuts, full-text fetching and integrations. The cloudimg image runs Miniflux behind an nginx reverse proxy on port 80 with PostgreSQL on a dedicated Azure data disk, and generates a unique admin login on the first boot of every VM. Backed by 24/7 expert support.
Dedicated Data Disk
The PostgreSQL database (feeds, entries, read state) lives on a dedicated, independently resizable Azure data disk mounted at /var/lib/postgresql, separate from the OS disk and re-provisioned with every VM.
Secure By Default
The admin login is unique per VM and stored in a root-only file. nginx fronts the loopback app so only port 80 is exposed; front it with TLS for production.
