UnoPim 2.1 Product Information Management on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS by cloudimg

UnoPim is the free, open source product information management (PIM) system built on the Laravel framework by Webkul. It centralises product data in one place: a catalog of products with rich attributes, attribute families, attribute groups and nested categories, role based user management, bulk import and export, and a REST API for feeding downstream sales channels, marketplaces and storefronts. Everything is managed from a single admin panel, so a team can keep one accurate, complete source of truth for product information.

This cloudimg image runs UnoPim 2.1.6 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, on the distribution's own PHP 8.3, MySQL 8.0 and nginx packages, with migrations and seeders already applied so you land directly on the admin sign-in with no setup wizard to complete. A background queue worker handles imports, exports, webhooks and completeness recalculation. The application runs on its database driver with no external search dependency, and the guide shows how to enable Elasticsearch for very large catalogs.

The image is secure by default and ships no known credential: on each instance's first boot it generates a fresh administrator email and password, a fresh MySQL password and a fresh Laravel application key, all written to a root only file, and it serves the admin panel over HTTPS with a certificate generated uniquely for that instance. The well known upstream default of admin@example.com with admin123 is neutralised at build time and does not authenticate. The application URL and trusted hosts follow the instance, so the panel keeps working on a bare public IP and after you put a custom domain, TLS or a proxy in front.
