NetApp JetStream DR

NetApp JetStream DR continuously replicates VMs directly to Azure Blob Storage. If disaster strikes, VMs can be rapidly recovered into your AVS environment to keep the business running.

• Cost-effective DR: Keeps VMs and their data in object storage, decoupling storage from compute to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade DR at a lower operating cost.
• Near-zero RPO, low RTO: JetStream continuous data protection (CDP) delivers an RPO of seconds and fast recovery times.
• Ransomware recovery: Integrated point-in-time recovery lets you restore to a moment just before an attack, limiting data loss to seconds.
• Storage-independent: Protects VMs on any VMware-supported datastore, including Azure NetApp Files (ANF), block, file, vSAN, vVols, and third-party HCI.
• Agentless CDP: Captures and replicates data continuously through VMware vSphere APIs for I/O Filtering (VAIO), with no agents inside the VMs.
• vSphere-to-vSphere recovery: Recovers VMs into native vSphere clusters in AVS, so there's no VM format conversion on failover or failback.
• Live failback: Returns VMs to the original site once it's restored, without interrupting VM operation or protection.
