TeamsPIM Azure Privileged Identity Management directly into Microsoft Teams
TeamsPIM brings Azure Privileged Identity Management directly into Microsoft Teams—no more portal hopping or buried approval emails. Submit activation requests, approve or deny roles in real time, and track every PIM request from one unified interface inside Teams.
What you can do
- Request just-in-time activation for Microsoft Entra roles, Microsoft Entra groups, Azure subscriptions and Azure resource groups without leaving Teams.
- Approve or deny a colleague's request from an adaptive card in your chat, with the requester, role, scope and justification in front of you.
- Get notified the moment a request is approved or denied, and again shortly before an active assignment expires, so an activation never lapses unnoticed.
- Review your active assignments and your full request history on the TeamsPIM dashboard tab.
Account requirements and dependencies
To use this app, you need an active TeamsPIM subscription, a Microsoft Entra ID account in a tenant where Privileged Identity Management is enabled, and a Microsoft Entra ID P2 or Microsoft Entra ID Governance license for the roles you manage. A tenant administrator must grant admin consent before anyone in the tenant can use the app, and a TeamsPIM license must be assigned to each user. Without an active subscription and an assigned license, the app prompts you to sign up instead of showing your PIM data. Please contact our team for more details.
